"The Chateau is a treasure, but the staff is even more of a treasure. Marine helped us with several things including translating an email from French to English ( we are weak in the French) , explaining the local restaurants and policies and even making a phone call for me since my phone was not able to make the call, to get my questions answered about a (French) future event . "Beautiful old chateau. Very comfy beds. No one around when we arrived. Had to wander the grounds looking for someone to check us in. We were offered a soft drink when the lady finally arrived. Never met the owners during our two days stay. We presumed they must be on holiday. Previous reviews were not the same as our experience. "
