Grand Hotel Ocean City Oceanfront

Grand Hotel Ocean City Oceanfront

8/10 Good
"I paid the price for a room on the boardwalk, but probably never will again. When I spend over $500 a night for a hotel room, it better be special, and there is nothing special about these rooms. The beds were uncomfortable and there were terrible cheap pillows. You could hear your neighbor’s conversations, fights, crying kids, etc. Our key quit working, and I obviously was a big bother to the gal at the front desk to re-scan my card. The little restaurant on the main floor was so good, but it would be nice if the employees even half way acted like they wanted to be there. Overall, it’s nice to be ocean front, on the boardwalk, but it’s gotten way too expensive. I can’t justify ever spending that amount again for a room in Ocean city. For comparison, when we left OC we went to DC. Stayed at a beautiful hotel in Old Town Alexandria, had a king suite for less than half the price of the Grand. This place had every amenity you could think of. That’s when I really felt stupid for paying what I did in OC."

"The hotel itself was amazing, however, the parking fees were not. It is unfortunate that parking fees are not included with the hotel stay."
