"Apartment is in a great location close to beach & attractions. Staff were welcoming & friendly and let us check in 2 hours early which was appreciated as it was raining. Apartment is well presented but very grubby and dated. Found the room & pillows to smell of grease/cooked food, carpet was filthy & beds were so uncomfortable we cut the trip short by a night. Overall not the worst place I have stayed, but definitely not worth the money & won’t be returning."

"This was our fourth stay at The Balmoral. We've stayed in some of the other larger hotels in Skeggy and haven't been to impressed. We found this one four years ago and haven't bothered looking for anywhere else since. Lovely little hotel and we'll be back again next year. "

"When I arrived I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hand shake. I was given all the details of breakfast times where my room was located,other facilities that where available,the room was very well decorated, toilet & shower room was clean and tidy, sufficient clothing space. the breakfast was very nice.The Hosts Roger & Alison were friendly towards there guests very Knowledgeable of the surrounding area and always polite. a very nice stay thank you"
