「The location was great, the room was very well appointed!! The bar was great to have on site. We didnt get to spend any time in the town due to being on a walk. Would recommend and would definitely stay again. Thanks 」

「Lovely views from the property, with local walks. We saw geese flying from the lake which was a surprise. The farmhouse was rustic, but pleasant and comfortable. Breakfasts were substantial, and Kate always helpful.」

「Fabulous, rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast, friendly hosts. We have been before and thoroughly recommend.」

「We very much enjoyed our stay at the White Cottage. We were made very welcome and shown around on our arrival. The room was nice, with two chairs as well as a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, including a flask of fresh milk and decaff coffee and tea which was appreciated. The shower was powerful and warm and plenty of towels were provided. 「First time booking and I am really looking forward to book again. The room is really comfortable and I was welcomed with a great cinnamon bun. Breakfast is great, with wonderful pastry. The atmosphere is friendly and the hosts are really lovely and make you feel at home immediately. I will book again for sure!」

「Lovely place, just out of the town centre. Craig was really welcoming on arrival. I stayed in the Oak room which was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had a nice big bathroom area with a rainfall walk in shower. Free parking was off the road in front of the building. I couldn't ask for more. Perfect for the weekend away.」

「Wonderful welcome on arrival by the owner, Sue. The room is lovely and big with a large bathroom, it's spotlessly clean everywhere with beautiful decor. There is a little fridge in the room with milk for hot drinks, a nice touch. The breakfast each morning is superb with the best eggs we've ever tasted (from their own chickens). We have already booked for next year at the same time. Highly recommended.」

「What an absolute find this B&B is, Lisa & Dean are really warm, and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, fantastic breakfasts and evening meals, a lot of little extra touches that make a big difference, like fresh milk for your room and big bath towels ! Really comfortable beds, lovely linen, topped off with a sea view. We’ve stayed in places all over the world, and this one left us smiling and working out when we can go back. Forgot to mention the homemade flapjacks in our room 😁」
