An absolute gem, warm and welcoming

What an absolute find this B&B is, Lisa & Dean are really warm, and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, fantastic breakfasts and evening meals, a lot of little extra touches that make a big difference, like fresh milk for your room and big bath towels ! Really comfortable beds, lovely linen, topped off with a sea view. We’ve stayed in places all over the world, and this one left us smiling and working out when we can go back. Forgot to mention the homemade flapjacks in our room 😁

Fantastic location

The hotel is in a fantastic location on the front and we had a sea view room with amazing views. Hosts are very friendly and the breakfast has a wide choice of food.

Honestly the best B&B you'll visit!

We had such a great stay!!! Can't rate this place enough, Lisa and Dean were the best hosts. The room was homely and spotless, with a great selection of hot drinks. We had a sea view and it was lovely waking up being able to look out. The breakfast was top notch, with a selection of hot and cold options. Highly recommend the full english! There's a little bar onsite too, which made for a great chill spot before leaving for dinner

Mariners recommended.

We spent 2 nights at Mariners after New Year and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lisa and Dean were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely with an excellent choice of locally sourced products and we appreciated the nice incidentals such as fresh milk for tea in our room. There is also a nice bar with lots of drinks choices. Mariners is well worth a visit.

Super B&B!

A wonderful stay! A real pleasure, we were made SO welcome and a breakfast to die for (not literally). Room was a little smaller than we would have preferred but it was the only one available. Recommended!!

Lovely b&b

Great b&b, large, comfy room, excellent breakfast, good WiFi and parking on site. Lovely view of beach. Seaton itself had a great chippy, restaurant and pub. Everyone very friendly but town was not as lively as some of the other resorts on the south coast

What a little gem.

My stay was great, lovely quiet location, good beach, hotel was very clean, excellent breakfast, helpful staff, I would recommend this hotel to people of all ages, bus service not far from hotel.

Wonderful Hosts

Wonderful view over looking the beach and water. Lisa and Dean were wonderful hosts especially as they have only been running The Mariners for about 8 weeks. Dean's service at breakfast was legendary, nothing too much trouble. I assume Lisa was cooking the breakfast. Breakfast was one of the nicest, well cooked ones that I've had for a while. Room 5 in itself was alright, bit small and the bed is a bit of a squeeze for two, better as a room for one. The fan didn't work in the very small bathroom and needs looking at, as it creates a musty smell. I feel that the cost of this room was too much for what it offered. Maybe this will be looked at ? Overall though my feeling is that the location, warmth of hosts and food, makes this a good place to stay.
