"The Frances Modern is a self-service boutique hotel perfectly located in hip East Austin — a vibrant neighborhood with great boutiques and dining options. The property is very charming, with cozy, bohemian décor and thoughtful room amenities that make for a relaxed, comfortable stay. There’s excellent coffee and sparkling water available in the communal area, which adds a nice touch. On the first floor, there’s a terrific East Asian restaurant, and just steps away is Paperboy — an excellent spot for breakfast. I recommend making reservations for both. Communication was outstanding — any time I had a question, I received an immediate and helpful response. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Parking was easy and great restaurants nearby. The property itself felt safe but I would drive in the neighborhood. Especially at night. We walked and wished we had driven. We're from Portland OR. So to say we didn't feel great says something. But with that change I would totally stay again. Staff was amazing and accommodating and the property was beautiful and very comfortable. "
