「Absolutely disgusting. We booked here originally because it was closer to our family we were visiting but when we arrived it was quickly decided to stay somewhere else. The pool was closed/maintenance (should be updated when booking), there were huge rolls of carpet crowding the lobby, and they put our family (2 adults and 3 children) on the 3rd floor with no working elevator. 「We always stay at this hotel when we go to Lafayette, but we did not have a good experience this time. We arrived early and we were able to check in so that was nice. The pool was closed so that was disappointing, but it opened the next day. When the pool did open, the water was extremely cloudy with a film. We were really disappointed because we stayed 4th of July weekend and the pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The lay out chairs need to be replaced, one was dry rotted and...

We had to make up the sofa bed, mattress was appalling, room smelled like an old storage building very musty, shower door was dirty, breakfast was bare minimum bananas, bread for toast, cereal, 2 jugs of yogurt in fridge, juice machine was running but no juice would come out, waffle maker with plain waffles. Pool did not open while we there although we had called ahead and asked for pool hours. Right off the interstate and plenty of parking. Room did not have a top lock only door...

「There aren't many "better than a Holiday Inn" level hotels in the area but this is one of them. They make the stay feel premium without any "snootiness". Nice pool with a riverside view.」
