「I was only booked in for one night. Young man who booked me in was very friendly and assisted me with taking my suitcases up stairs as unfortunately there is no lift. The stairs are rather narrow. The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. Food from restaurant was good and fairly reasonable. Unfortunately I didn’t get breakfast which is included as I had an early train to catch.」

「No evening meal due to chef needing time off, staff seemed to have no idea what was happening. Only food available in the area was pizza at a hostel across the road. Breakfast room opened at 8:30 and consisted of help yourself Coco pops, croissants or toast, if you had an early start, nothing. Overall a very poor experience.」

「We arrived to be told they were closing the next day so no breakfast was on offer (had money deducted) however on entering the room it was obvious the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned for a while as I had to get rid of A LOT of cobweb’s throughout the room and there were a lot of dead bugs on the window sill - the next morning I discovered there were no teabags and no staff around to ask. Not great front of house or customer care」
