I was only booked in for one night. Young man who booked me in was very friendly and assisted me with taking my suitcases up stairs as unfortunately there is no lift. The stairs are rather narrow. The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. Food from restaurant was good and fairly reasonable. Unfortunately I didn’t get breakfast which is included as I had an early train to catch.

Friendly hotel with lovely food

Lovely hotel/pub, very friendly staff and food was delicious. The boutique bedrooms were a bit dated with the black painted headboard and footboard which i constantly banged my knee on when walking around the bed as it stuck out so much and the mattress was a little soft for my liking, felt like I was rolling into the middle.

Nice friendly place

Nice stay in a friendly pub, food and service was good and room comfortable if a little on the chilly side but meant that it wasn't too hot for sleeping. Would recommend
