A lovely, friendly B&B in the suburbs of Durham. Easy to find just off the A1, handy for exploring the lovely city of Durham. Great home cooked breakfast included in the price

Marvellous
100% lovely bed and breakfast very friendly helpful will definitely stay there again breakfast 10/10
Had a lovely stay. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. William the host went out of his way to help. Good breakfast too. Bus stop in to Durham was just across the road
I don’t normally review but this is an excellent B&B. William went above and beyond taking us into Durham and saving us the taxi fare. Room has everything you need and the cooked breakfast was really good too. Many thanks again.
Very homely b&b - we were made to feel very welcome. Comfortable bed - fridge and microwave a nice extra. Free on street car parking and 10 minute bus service into Durham town centre. Tasty full English breakfast. Good value.
Beautiful room, very friendly hosts. Comfortable bed. Biscuits and chocolates in the room were a nice surprise. Lovely breakfast. Probably only downside was it wasn't that warm, but there was a plug-in heater in the bedroom.

Friendly B&B
A friendly B&B with kind and attentive staff. A good breakfast. Room could benefit of some updating but it had everything you need & was comfortable. Added bonus of electric charging point for car. Hard to find at moment in most places so was a nice bonus and owner was keen for us to take advantage of it
Arrived and we were made to feel very welcome. We were shown to our room which was a lovely touch. We were allowed to park in the owners driveway. We were going into town and William very kindly offered to drive us. The bed was in extremely comfortable and great tea/coffee facilities in our room. The breakfast was lovely and the dining room was very quirky. Staff are all lovely. Well worth the money
William was a most gracious host and went out of his way to help us when we arrived late, served a wonderful breakfast in the morning, and then transported my daughter and I to the University. Cannot thank him enough
The staff were friendly and efficient, couldn't have been better. But the room itself, while wonderfully spacious, could've been heated better, especially the bath area.
Taking a shower was a real act of courage.
Stayed one night as as was dropping off my daughter to uni. The owner, William was absolutely wonderful. So kind, welcoming and helpful. Gave us a great suggestion for where to have dinner and even offered to drive us! The Inn is only about a 10 minute drive to central Durham and is located in a very nice area. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Durham.
We loved to stay at this place. William, the owner, was very kind and helpful. He even helped us to make our breakfast Vegan when we asked him if it was possible. The room was beautiful and cosy, with a kettle, a microwave, a very comfortable bed and a very clean en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was big and delicious. Excellent communication from the host. Literally 8 minutes by car from Durham town centre.
Lovely family run place, we were given such a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Good nights sleep and breakfast was probably the cleanest I’ve ever had, super clean dining room, table cloth, plates with a perfectly cooked breakfast without a single trace of oil, absolutely delicious! We were able to park and charge our car for the return trip and when I asked to pay for the charge William wouldn’t take a penny! Honestly lovely place where obvious pride taken in every detail. Thank you for a lovely stay!

A little bit out of town, but a very nice place to stay!
Clean welcoming entrance
Bedroom was large spacious and comfortable with all the extras shower gel ear buds cotton pads even a microwave and fridge which could have been very handy
We booked the B&B as we were attending a concert in Sunderland. The owners assisted with transport to and from the stadium which was very helpful and at a good price. They were really helpful. The room was clean and adequate for what we needed. The breakfast was ok - the only criticism would be the salad on the cooked breakfast, as far as I could see most people left it as it was an odd add and it was nice enough without. I think it was a presentation thing for them but unnecessary in my opinion.
Absolutely amazing. I booked this for my cousin and out 90 year old Aunt on their visit to Uk and their hometown from the USA.
Booking was simple, and i contacted William the owner regarding their room and also some flowers for them upon their arrival.
William said it would be his pleasure to provide these free of charge and asked me to email over a card to go with them, which he printed off and put both in their room on arrival.
He also offered to pick them both up from the train station when they were travelling there from Liverpool.
Once there, he took them to our different family members homes, into Durham, and to a family get together. Honestly he could not have done more.
A menu for breakfast was given to fill in the night before and mt Aunt was delighted it said "Aunty Mary on it. Its just those personal touches that made their stay great.
Also comfortable room, only thing my aunt says it could do with was a little sitting room for guests to sit in, but thats a minor thing.
William and his wife have only had this B&B a few month's, and they are doing a great job.
Thank you to them both.
