" My wife and I recently stayed at the YMCA of the Rockies - Snow Mountain Ranch. Here's my take on it: Pros Scenic Beauty: The ranch is nestled within a huge area of rolling meadows, surrounded by aspen groves and spruce forests. Outdoor Activities: plenty of things to do in there. Staff: friendly people all over the place. Cons: Location Trade-off: While the ranch's proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park (just a 30-minute drive) is a major plus, it's not right in the heart of the city....

"Excellent location with a nice river walk nearby connecting a dam. Also easy access to supermarket. Nice staff. "

"Older ski chalet so hasn't been updated in a long time. That being said, we had the "apartment" upstairs from the lobby. We slept 5 adults (was also supposed to be one child) and it was very comfortable. Large living area with big dining table. Fully equipted kitchen so technically you could prepare and serve all meals. They offered a very adequate breakfast (included) and it was a very quiet place. Nice heated indoor pool and outside jacuzzi. Would stay again!!"

"Highland Haven is a wonderfully unique little piece of heaven on earth. It feels private and special though just a short walk into old Evergreen. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Kit! I want to live in the Daily cabin!"
