「I found communication a bit slow and posted information on reception desk hours contradictory. I worked out--reception desk was open past 5pm for my 7:15 arrival but I was stressed the whole way from the airport and St George's Quay on foot that I would not make it. I tried to call but using the information presented me could not connect via my USA iPhone. Probably something stupid I was doing but perhaps look at that information and see if it is the best information for travelers from outside...

「Stayed at Cork Street in Dublin and honestly couldn’t believe the value for money. Although it’s usually student accommodation, they absolutely make it feel like a proper hotel experience during stays. The whole place was spotless, modern, and really well maintained. 「A little bit showing it’s age and therefor shabby. Bits of wood falling off in the kitchen, sofa springs at the end of their life, fuse box buzzing annoyingly, water pressure low. But then there were things that were just poor. Poor design, thoughtless. Like TVs that are rediculously high on the wall, mirrors that are too low, shower doors so big so that its a pain to get in and out of the bath, blackout curtains that don’t actually blackout because they have been mounted poorly and let in...

「I have never had an issue communicating with a property using Hotels.Com but that was the case with Griffith Hall. The person who registered us said that it was a common issue for them. In the end, things worked out but it could be a problematic issue. The residence is just that a college residence. Don't expect a regular hotel experience. And be prepared to use public transit to get anywhere or walk a lot. It is not in a central location.」

「The apartments were amazing, the only disappointing part was we had booked them as they were on temple bar, the apartment we booked was getting renovated so we were moved to 2 apartments which was a half hour walk or 20 min taxi ride so incurred extra charges for ubers」

「It was impossible to have to go far away from the apartment to “register”, and only get instructions to get keys who then still were a block away from the apartment, in a lockbox that was hidden in an area behind two doors (not exaggerating), and nobody explained that there were two different codes -one to get behind the doors, then another one (that they forgot to tell us!) to open the lockbox to the key….. We finally got in, only to find someone working on a broken bathroom door… it was cold...

「Pretty good, we thought there would be 7 beds, but there was one pull out couch and 3 beds. But turned out to be pretty nice to sleep on. We couldn’t figure out the shower, so it was either scolding or freezing.. this might just be our fault though. Super central, and easy to get too and from. 」
