Great Staff, But Room Was Unbearably Hot
The hotel staff were wonderful—very friendly, responsive, and genuinely empathetic. The room was clean and well-kept, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the hotel has no air conditioning, and the interior rooms have no windows that can be opened, so there was no way to cool the room. Despite the staff providing fans, the room was extremely hot—more like a sauna than a hotel room. We ended up checking out just a few hours after arriving because there was no way we could sleep in those conditions.
The staff kindly gave us a 50% refund, which we appreciated, but given that we didn’t even spend the night, a full refund would have been more appropriate. That said, we don’t blame the staff—they were excellent and clearly aware and empathetic of the issue. In our opinion, the interior rooms should not be offered to guests at all.
Tip for future travelers: Avoid the interior rooms altogether.
