I booked this hotel in error - thinking it was another hotel closer to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Best mistake I ever made - just into Idaho - the lodge was beautiful, quiet - with everything you could ever want - view, swimming, golf and wonderful food and staff. Easy access to West Yellowstone was a bonus! My son and I had a trip of a lifetime!

Tallum is heaven on earth. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have stunning views of the Tetons and of the beautiful meadows filled with cattle herd beneath them. The staff are so polite and friendly and my kids loved the free smores in the evening. The grounds are very close to Teton village so lots of great restaurants close by. Just make sure to get a room at the front and also be prepared for so me e road nose. Still a 5 out of 5 for me though.

Great host lives next door. Everything you needed was provided. Apartment type setting with full kitchen, bath, stackable washer and dryer. Shared deck overlooking beautiful views. Very clean and quiet. Anything you needed host was available to help out. We accidentally left our carry-on bag behind on way to the airport early morning when leaving and host got up early and met us halfway to bring it to us so we wouldn't miss our flight. Very beautiful property. Gorgeous grounds and the rooms are cozy. Smaller “suites” than most hotels and definitely lots to work on to give guests a five star resort experience.
Our stay felt extremely understaffed. Lots of miscommunication. And we were often looking around for staff that were nowhere to be found. Empty “lobby”, no one in valet,
The layout of the main building is extremely badly designed. The “spa” is a couple of rooms in a hallway.
There is no conviene store or five star...

The staff is great, rooms are nice, swimming pool and hot tub are open 24 hours a day and the property is great. They can even set up a horseback ride for an additional fee. Truly a relaxing experience.
