The property was fine but the bar restaurant was terrible service was slow and the food was awful, my steak was so tough you couldn't eat it.

Really cool historic hotel, the staff was awesome, parking was easy. The whole town is very walkable from the hotel, the private hot springs were clean and nice. Breakfast was great, my wife and I stay in Lava 1/2 times a year and this was a great experience.

"While the rooms are a bit rustic, there was a certain charm of nostalgic roadside Americana that I loved about this place. I had extra time so I spent the evening soaking at the Lava Hot Springs a little further up I-15. Perfect for a one-night stopover."
