"I normally stay at IHG properties when we travel, so the Holiday Inn Lisbon felt like a natural choice for our trip in March 2026. Overall, our stay was comfortable, but there were a few things worth noting. Pros: - Even with a large group of students arriving at the same time, the front desk handled everything efficiently. They were fully staffed, and the check-in process was quick. -Plenty of variety, fresh food, and good pastry options every morning for the breakfast buffet. -The room itself was basic but clean, which is usually all we need. Cons -The provided toiletries were disappointing. I tried the shampoo once and it really wasn’t good. -- Our room was on the second floor, and we could hear traffic at night as well as people walking by. Light sleepers might want to request a higher floor. -Before our arrival, we received a WhatsApp message asking for a credit card to secure our stay. It included our names and dates, so it looked legitimate—but it turned out to be a phishing attempt. I contacted IHG’s corporate privacy team to report it, hoping for guidance or reassurance. Unfortunately, the response was disappointing. They emphasized that the hotel is independently owned and operated and suggested contacting the hotel directly. For a brand that puts its name on the property, it was discouraging to see so little ownership of a privacy concern. Overall The hotel itself delivered a decent stay—clean rooms, great breakfast, and friendly staff. "

"The hotel itself is nice. However, some of the staff members, namely, Fayaz, was extremely rude and has no idea about how to deal with hotel guests. He should not be in the hospitality business. The mini bar in the room was not working, and they would not replace it. My wife and I, both seniors, had to get ice from the bar twice a day to make sure my medicine did not go bad. There is a coffee maker in the room; however, and to my surprise, the hotel charges for coffee buds and tea bags beyond the first day, which I have never heard of before."

"As first time travellers to Lisbon, we loved this hotel. The location was fantastic, steps from public transit, yet you can still walk to the waterfront easily. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel, it’s unique without being over the top. The roof top pool and bar would be an awesome place to spend a day soaking up the sun and relaxing. The rooms were a great size, clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a bathroom stall and a shower they had frosted glass sliding doors. This doesn’t bother us, it was a great size and had fantastic water pressure. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They gave great recommendations for restaurants and even assisted with ordering dinner, it allowed us to get exactly what we wanted without the language barrier. We had an issue with our safe, I was astounded at how quickly maintenance was there to fix it. We would stay here again, I’d also recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"The perfect stay! Great and friendly staff, clean and quiet room and also great size room and bed. Lastly, location was amazing, in a local neighborhood with two supermarkets across, lots of coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacy and about 5 direct stops on the metro to the airport and all major attractions. I will stay again and recommend to my friends."
