"The room was clean and the bathroom was clean. Nice stay!"

"My first impression was the man smoking marijuana in the parking lot. The person at the counter was very polite. The elevator smelled of marijuana was so strong. I get up to the room and noticed some glue-like substance on the nightstand. The remote I wouldn’t dare touch. It hadn’t been cleaned. The bed itself I actually slept on top of the sheets and didn’t even get under the covers. It’s an older hotel and the rooms need a serious refresh. The wood paneling on the sink is all cracked due to the moisture. The knob on the shower I feared was going to come off. The surfaces had that film-like residue on them. You knew they have been wiped down with cleaner but it felt like the water hadn’t been changed in a while. The best part about the whole trip was the man who waited on me at the hotel restaurant for breakfast. His name was Darren. If the whole hotel was like an experience with Darren then it would have been a lovely experience. Darren was so professional and kind. It was very obvious that he takes pride in his job. However I wish Wyndham took as much pride in that facility. Unfortunately they do not. "

"We had a small youth group in-town for a competition and needed somewhere close to the venue that could accommodate four students to a room. Not only was the Residence Inn within ten minutes of the venue and had rooms to accommodate four people: it checked off so many other boxes we didn’t expect. Both the studio and one-bedroom suite were clean and incredibly spacious with fully equipped kitchens, including a dual freezer/fridge, counter stovetop and sink, microwave, toaster, and even a small dishwasher. The hotel also provided cabinets stocked with dishes, bowls, cups, silverware, and a cutting board, complete with complimentary dish soap, detergent, and a sponge. Both rooms included a nice walk-in showers, desk space with a roller chair, dual USB/110 outlets on the night stand, comfortable couches long and soft enough to serve as a third bed, and TV’s equipped with cable and streaming capabilities (a lifesaving feature when traveling with teenagers). The one bedroom-two queen bed suite also included a four-chair dining table, plus an additional TV and dresser. The kids loved the pool, workout room and free breakfast, which included an array of options, like waffles, sausage, oatmeal, and scrambled eggs. The Location was also a huge asset, with several nearby restaurants, an Aldi’s to help stock the fridge, and two minute drive east to I-71. Overall, the kids said this was the nicest hotel they’d ever stayed at, and as the adult, I can’t disagree. Book it now if you can!"

"I went just myself for a mommy vacay. Breakfast was ok rooms clean . Staff was very friendly! Monica was awesome I love her ! Only complaint I have is the pool was closed.. that was the whole reason I came here.. I love the pool "

"The property itself and the decor are a blast from the past, complete with nostalgic smells from the era (not bad smells, just musty old wood house or apartment kinda smells). All the finishes were well-worn, but clean with no signs of bugs or mold. The room itself was very roomy and bed sheets were clean. The beds had a hallow feel that we didn't care for. We did not hear any noise from adjourning rooms, floor above, or outside. The front desk staff did give us a heads up that the rooms do not come with amenities, but we could request what we needed at anytime. I took them up on that later in the evening and they were promptly provided. They also let us know at check-in that the breakfast is very simple grab-n-go snack and coffee. Overall if you are on a budget it's worth a look. We had a pleasant stay and would book again, but only for short periods."

"Since i paid for the room thru Expedia and there was an issue with not only my check in but there was no working hot water, i would expect Expedia to reimburse me for my one night stay ($79) instead of offering me $20 OneKey cash points. Red Roof has offered me their own points (over 6K) for the inconvenience. I don't travel much at all as I can't afford it. I would expect better. "
