「I loved the styling of The Finch, every detail of the decor is thoughtful and unified. The staff was incredibly friendly. The cute Walla Walla downtown zone is one block away. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. My only recommendation is to request building B or C. We were in building A, and our view was of the neighboring gas station.」

「The staff were nice, but I was a bit disappointed. The bathroom had mildew smell, and it felt dirty. There was grout missing on the bath tube. Dirty used towels were hung in the closet. Breakfast was not that appealing. The scrabble eggs did not taste like eggs. It would have been nice if they restock the fruit basket.」

「First of all, it was clean and felt safe. No regrets there. I was traveling with a friend to a convention at the Pendleton Convention Center which requires us to wear formal dresses. The only problem we encountered which is unique to our dress code requirements was there was not a closet in a room with 2 beds, so nowhere to hang our dress bags or dresses up. We had to do that in the shower which is not ideal especially when you want to take a shower. I suggested to the front desk they put...

「Our room had a funky odor, not sure why. The fridge had a musty smell and ice buildup in the freezer had a brown tint (mildew?) so we couldn’t use it without our food/drink having that smell too. This hotel was certainly not worth the cost.」

「The person at the desk was super nice and so I almost don’t want to say anything bad. I picked the place because of the pool and hot tub, but when we got there they were out of order, I showered at night and the water took a long time to sort of warm up to slightly warm. My husband wanted to shave in the am and again the water never got warm enough to shave. Breakfast server was again, very nice and very hard working.」

「Everything was real good and I'd stay here again...however 2 things could be improved upon....1st: since there was no housekeeping in between the 2 nights we stayed ( I could have requested but didn't...I try to re- use) it would be nice if a few more paper cups were available in the room for morning coffee from the in room keruig ( we re - used 1 cup...shared for our second day ...not the end of the world but prefer a clean cup) and #2 it would be nice to have lotion available in the large...

「Room was clean, updated, and generally quiet. Staff had great restaurant recommendations and the evening cookies in the lobby shouldn’t be missed. Location was great very walkable to restaurants, shopping and Safeway. A couple notes regarding our second floor room (3 floor bldg): 1) Shortest toilet we have seen outside a daycare center (a squatty potty?) 2) One of the tallest, unadjustable shower heads we have seen 3) Breakfast buffet was disappointing and omelettes okay but very slow.
