「Great location 10 minutes from dowtown New Paltz, but you are in the mountains at this lodge, friendly staff. Captures the mountain vibe. Very nice breakfast room and outdoor area out back with fire pits. Recommend getting balcony room facing mountain. Bedroom is nicely furnished, although bathrooms could use some updating. Overall a very good experience if staying New Paltz area」

「I should have taken other recent reviews to heart. The property is overgrown; the path stones are broken, and weeds grow right under my patio doors, making them difficult to open. I received a message saying no one would be there to greet me, but that a packet with information and my room keys would be on the front desk. I arrived around 1:30 and found the envelope with my first and last name and my room displayed on the front. So much for privacy (or safety). The lobby has a musty/mildew...
