「It was expensive for the overall appearance. There are few hotels in the area and it was summer so I assume that is the reason for the price. There were odd smells throughout the property including a strong lemon cleaning smell in the room and the smell of a near by landfill outside. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It should invest in a nice patio in the front since it has a pretty view.」

「There was no phone, even to the front desk. TheDirectv was horrible. Bath/shower plumbing was difficult to deal with. Was not informed a new roof was going to be installed in the morning. Pounding early in the morning about gave me a heart attack!!」

「Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home.」

「Did not stay once we saw the property......rooms and property very dirty, not maintained, management not available when we got there. Were charged the whole price since their policy is 24 hr advance notice. Photo online is NOT what we observed. I would never recommend this place to anyone. EXTREMELY disappointed. We were on our bikes and had to ride another 10 miles before we found another place to stay.」
