"Conveniently located with covered walkway from the Ratchathewi station. Check in process was seemless, friendly very helpful staff. Room made up every day with fresh sheets, towels and toiletries. Buffet breakfast was great value with a good range of food choices. Checked out at 10.00am, but we didn't have a flight until midnight - so staff safely stored our suitcases after checkout so we could have another full day exploring Bangkok, before returning to pick up our suitcases that night. "

"This hotel is inside the Siam Square. It is walking distance to the MRT mass system, and next to Siam Paragon for shopping and wonderful food court. The skywalk is right there and you can anywhere using the skywalk to many shopping malls along the way."

"I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was at the Marriott Merlin Beach Resort. The staff are AMAZING. We absolutely loved being greeted with their warm smiles. They were extremely attentive to our needs during meals, sitting at the pool and at the beach by the Rum Shack. The resort is very nice and always clean. We opted for the all-inclusive package and were glad we did. The menus at the restaurants were pretty good and we always found something to our liking. If you are looking for a family getaway I would recommend this resort, but be aware it is a little off the beaten path. It is a short taxi or bus ride into Patong, but we didn’t feel the need to leave as all of what we needed was at the resort. There is even an elephant sanctuary only a 5 minute walk up the hill. We will definitely be returning."
