「Sand castle was a small but beautiful resort. We got told many of times they have the best beach on the island and from what we seen I believe it. Nice sandy beach with chairs, umbrellas, chair covers and towels. They had everything we needed. It was close to things and not hard to navigate. The beds awe the beds were amazingly comfortable. 「I spent the week and not once did the cleaning staff check the room or even offer fresh towels. For the price and if you've got a week of destinations, its fine for sleeping until the rooster crows in the 5am hour. The island is a neat destination. If the owner if the Castle owns this resort, please put some money into this little gem. An update and staff are all it needs.」

「The property seems to be renovated within the last decade or so but it is not well maintained. The rooms get very moist with condensation if you don’t leave the humidifier and air conditioner on. The laminated floors become extremely slippery. The hotel needs better maintenance altogether. There are very limited food options, however, the food was pretty good - well seasoned. 「The toilet in our room was broken. The screw was broken so it couldn't be tightened back up. It moved and pinched my leg. I asked to have it replaced, but that never happened. The phones did not work so there was no way to reach the staff when needed. I felt that they might be able to move seaweed at the beach area daily in a spot so that the tenants could get to it. My favorite staff was the activities directors. Shawn and Alicia were great! Bartenders were fun! Food was limited for breakfast...
