「Great staff」

「Friendly staff at the desk. Rooms were very clean and modern. The breakfast was hot and ready. Not a huge amount of offerings for breakfast but a little something for everyone.」

「Little charmer of a place -- the Family Suite at the Pelican was several orders of magnitude better than a similarly named place at a resort in Wisconsin where we stayed earlier this year. Better designed, better furnished, and less than half the price.」

「The room was ok. Checked in at 9pm. Hotel worker was next door at the days inn working as well so had to wait 10 minutes for her to show up. Room was very sticky and humid. Says breakfast buffet included but definitely not a buffet. No hot food besides waffles. Coffee is horrible. Parking is very tight for a pickup. For $125/night you think it would be a little better.」

「Our room had a very strong musty damp smell. Kind of like there had been water damage. Not a very clean shower. Our door was hard to pull open and close as it kept sticking. We didn’t really see or talk to any staff. It was easy to enter the room with the info given to us via message on Expedia.」
