New owners that have their work cut out for them. Everything looked so much better than last time we were there and it has only been a week since they took over. Room was clean and comfortable, staff very friendly.

The staff seemed allright by no means friendly. Barely spoke and never greeted you at all. Coffee was in short supply. Rooms seemed clean and made up daily. There were lots of kids running around unsupervised which was disturbing. On whole wd would stay again.

This would have been excellent for cleanliness, but the breakfast sadly was lacking. There was no batter for the waffles, and no staff to ask for some. The other options were few and some items seemed like they were there for awhile. In the room, the heater fan was loud and the bathroom fan ran the whole time with no way to turn it off. The bathroom door needs to be trimmed off the bottom as it did not open and close easily and dragged on the floor. We had our dog with us and the clerk tried to have us pay more than what was posted online. On the pleasant side, everything was very clean. I liked the adjustable mirror in the bathroom and the wide counter.:)

There was a dirt ring around the bathtub so I didn't even get in the sheets I slept on top with my own blanket which I always carry just in case. The carpet was not fresh and the room was dusty so I didn't even use the coffee maker. The desk clerk hummed to himself the whole time he was checking me in which was annoying and dismissive. I had no choice to stay here since its the only one in town but next time I will definitely be driving back home instead of staying over. Not worth it at all.

Hot tub in the pool was broken, pool towels we next to impossible to get, when asking for them at the desk "there is none dry". Breakfast needed better restocking for the amount of people coming through. Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful but seemed to be running short staffed so they had multiple jobs on their plate.

SUPER UNDER STAFFED!! When I first booked this room, in FEBRUARY, I put in the comments I was requesting early check-in. Two days before my stay, I called to reconfirm this. The man who answered the phone was very hard to understand. Had to repeat myself several times. His answer to my question, "I will be able to check in at 1:00pm, correct?", was YES. Get to the hotel, nobody at the desk. Nobody to be found period. Nobody answered the phone at the desk with the note to call and someone will help you. The hotel was booked with people all going to the same wedding. When the guy finally showed up at the desk at 2pm (he had been at lunch for about two hours), the lobby was FULL of people trying to check-in. Ended up changing clothes in the bathroom down the hall. Finally get into my room with about 20 minutes before having to leave for the wedding. Nice big holes in the wall about the bed where apparently a large picture had been hanging. When I went to check-out the next morning, again NOBODY AT THE DESK. People had left notes saying they were checking out of their rooms. I did the same. I get this was a VERY small town, but you need people at the desk at critical service times. And maybe, you need to delay taking your lunch when you know A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE CHECKING IN. About the only nice thing I can say about this hotel is, at least they had my reservation.....I hope to never again stay here again.

Difficult to communicate with the property manager. My booking wasn't showing up. I already paid through Expedia, but there was no record of it at the hotel. I had to pay again. In the morning, I was told he was going to refund me. He did, but then charged me again (I discovered when I checked my bank account). Besides that, there were no vending machines and the breakfast was not good. No fruit, warm juice, etc. The beds were fine.
