However, the soundproofing was poor, and it was quite noisy late at night and into the early morning, sometimes as late as 2 am. Light sleepers may want to keep this in mind. The room was clean and had everything we needed, but the facilities felt a bit old, and there were some stains on the carpet and bedding. Also, we were required to pay a cleaning fee at check-in and could not check in without paying it.」

On Day 1, I checked in online but never received an access code to enter the building or my room. I’m definitely not the only one—there were many other guests stuck at the front door every day. 「The host was wonderful and very responsive. She even offers extended check out which was great. The listing could be a bit more detailed on the apartment. It appears to be a place to rent rooms but the whole apartment was offered. There is a camera IN the apartment which was very uncomfortable as I felt like I could not get comfortable for the time I was there and being watched I could not enjoy the living room. Other than that I have no complaints.」

「This place is perfect for the intrepid, seasoned traveler who is flexible and has a tolerance for change or very small curveballs. This is to say, it was bare bones, safe, clean, roomy, and very manageable. It was as advertised. Common kitchen and bathrooms. BRING A TOWEL!! I was in town, traveling solo, to see some concerts, so it was just what I was looking for. It is in the heart of Little India and the food choices were over-the-top wonderful with many vendors open until 3am.」
