「Staff was very pleasant and polite. Breakfast area was clean and large enough to accommodate a lot of people. 」

「My room was spotless. Staff were friendly and efficient on a very busy weekend. The breakfast buffet was ready on time and included foods for a variety of eaters (eggs, sausage, waffle station, yogurt, fruit, cereal). Parking was free, easy, and convenient. Thumbs up all around.」

「The hot tub is an odd design and I feel the steps into it are extremely unsafe. Also the it was not very strong when turned on . 」

「The walls are thin and so are the floors. I think I heard the guy upstairs snoring all night, but it was muted and sounded like my big dog, so it was actually pretty soothing. Rooms are pretty sparse with bare wood floors. You could add washable room size 8x10 rugs and really step it up for not much money. Breakfast buffet was pretty sparse and you could add a few more tables. 」

「I will never stay here again. There were webs on the ceiling. The air conditioner was loud and rattled the whole time. The people on the floor above us were banging things and stomping back and forth. They were loud at midnight and again at 6:30 am. On top of all of this, I killed a bug that was crawling on the floor. I reported this to the guy at the front desk before leaving, and I didn't get even so much as an apology.」

「I absolutely love this bed & breakfast. I cant say enough of the hosts, Barb, Bill, & Jerry! What a treat they are and I have found new friends! The house is immaculate and they let you have your private time, and they also welcome you for a nice conversation. I will definitely be back next time I am in Clare!」

「If you are looking for a unique experience in a beautiful older home, this is the place in Mt. Pleasant. Very quiet when we stayed. We will definitely be back vs. staying in a hotel. Service was very friendly checking in and out.」
