「Room was updated and very clean. The bay view was great. Restaurant food was good. Tiki Bar was nice. Drinks were overpriced.」

「Staff friendly and helpful. Sheets were clean. Towels were old, stained and felt as if they needed to be washed. Sink had no stopper which isn’t good if you have to clean your contacts. Picnic tables right by exit doors encourage smokers to sit and it smelled horrible every time I had to go to my car. Moved my car far away from doors as a result. While the location is good I can’t recommend it as an average to above average hotel. Staff very nice.」

「We stayed in the Garden Cottage for a week and cannot recommend it for longer stays. While the property manager responded to our texts and generally sent maintenance within 24 hours, the property suffers from poor upkeep and temporary fixes. Our issues started at check-in when our entry code failed, and no one answered the phone, forcing us to communicate solely via text. Upon entry, the unit smelled strongly of marijuana, the bedroom closet door was broken, and a ceiling fan blade was hanging...

「It's a motor hotel, so you know it's not fancy when you book it. What made it great was that it clean, the staff made a very late check in (1AM) very easy, and it was much more reasonable price than other hotels in the area. It's a no frills but very clean and well run place. Would definitely book again when I'm in the area. Friendly staff too.」

「The cabin was a nice place to stay with my family. My toddler was able to roam around without too much worry that he would break anything. It is not steps to Lake Huron, but it is overall quiet.」
