「Every thing was excellent」

「The motel is in a good location and right near a great cafe called Cello. The room had everything I needed and was clean and well kept. The double spa bath was great to relax in, however the jets didn't work that well, but it didn't bother me. There was a lovely welcoming note from the motel staff, and they were happy to help when I locked myself out of my room. It was afordable, in a good location and staff make you feel welcome.」

「We organised to stay here with a few friends. Unfortunately our friends room was mouldy and was unsafe to stay in. They staff moved them to another location but this inconvenienced us as we planned a weekend away to hang out but different locations ruined that for us all. I wouldn't recommend to stay here. The rooms are small , the bed was uncomfortable. We did not have a good experience.」

「Lake view」

「Love our stay! The building itself is a beautiful historic architecture. We stayed in the Zebra room, the view was stunning overseeing the whole town. Breeze coming in from window was really nice. Fireplace and deep bathtub are also highlights of our stay. The host provided generous breakfast bits and small snacks for us in the room, it was very sweet of them! Also love the contactless check in and out, plenty of privacy for couple, We will definitely come back. 」

「This motel is 5 star! Beautifully modernised and renovated, tastefully decorated with class and style. This isn't your average "this will do" basic room; this place is quality, comfortable, intentional, welcoming and pretty. It's the kind of room that you feel kind of sad to leave. The receptionist Sam was helpful and considerate, and we loved every minute of our stay here. If ever I have reason to stay in Daylesford, the Art Motel will be my first preference! Can't rate it high enough!」

「I think the photos give the impression that this property is a little more "together" than it actually is. Whilst the bed linen and towels were on point and the bedding itself very comfortable, I'm afraid everything else was old, tired and mismatched making it feel more like someone else's holiday shack than simple cottage. The equipment in the kitchen is mismatched and hodge-podge and very minimal. Bring everything if you plan on cooking here, including utensils and oil etc. No milk was...
