「Its pretty obvious this property has fallen behind on its list of maintenance items as both rooms we booked had multiple items needing repair. Cleaning was not very good either. On a positive note, the breakfast was good. And the swimming pool was ok.. although the hot tub was unavailable, covered with a tarp..」

「Due to extreme weather causing damage to the building, everyone had to evacuate. The staff was professional and helpful, but they were unable to secure rooms for all of us in other hotels. Things would have been fine if the weather had cooperated. Until the evacuation, we were satisfied with the hotel. So my “okay” rating would have been higher under normal circumstances.」

「This is not your typical hotel stay, so when I say everything was well maintained, service was good, etc, it accounts for the fact it is a very old home with some original or era appropriate things (such as old doornobs which my daughter commented on), and that it is a true B&B so it is their home and they have lives and it is not a standard hotel setting (they had a hair dryer, just not in every bathroom).
