On the edge of town, so easy to get in and out without hitting bar harbor traffic, but close enough to walk anywhere . Restaurants near by were great, namely salsa Verde grill. Nice wine shop is very close. The hotel is basic, clean, the AC worked well. You can park right in front of your room, and the lobby has complementary water, coffee , cereal, breakfast bars. "Hanscom’s is truly a gem! Our room was was clean, comfortable, and efficient. They provide coffee pods, toiletries, and basic kitchen equipment. The grounds are under renovation but the fire pit and grill area they have recently finished is awesome!
