"I liked the fact that I was the only guest at the property, so I had the full attention of the staff for my needs (although minimal). I didn’t like that I never saw security on the premises at night although I was advised that they would be there every night. However regardless I did feel safe at the property."

"Stayed in April 2025 with our 2 year old. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating (my daughter still yells out BULA to us). Food options were great, we loved the pool and not having to leave the accommodation. The drive from Nadi airport is long, especially after a flight but once at the resort you don’t need to leave. "

Take a breath and unwind. Please note Matava is NOT suitable for the common main stream tourist looking for the usual entertainment provided by big resorts. "

"The lovely and welcoming staff and the activities. The school visit was great and overall the place is beautiful. The resort is extremely cost effective and is located on an awesome coastline. The resort is maintained quite well, unlike some other reviews saying its run down and stuff. The rooms are super comfy and its really peaceful at night. "
