Ocean El Faro Resort - All Inclusive

"This is our third time visiting Ocean El Faro, and overall, it is a good hotel with many positive things to offer. Our concierge, Miguel, was a 10/10! He was excellent and helped us with everything we needed throughout our stay. He checked on us every day and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The bartenders, Dauris and Omar, also provided excellent service. They were very friendly & attentive. At the coffee shop, Chabela made our visit especially enjoyable, her kindness really stood out. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The hotel’s beach is not the best and, in my opinion, is not very suitable for swimming. I also believe the pools are in need of some renovation, as there are a lot of loose tiles that could potentially cut or injure a guest. The empty spaces where the tiles are missing also tend to accumulate mold. Dolce Vita and Bluemoon had excellent food and service. Unfortunately, our Steak House experience was disappointing. We waited over 1.5 hours for our food, received dishes we did not order, and were told, “that’s what was left.” The food also seemed rushed and poorly prepared. The hotel offers great entertainment, including bowling, archery, a lazy river, and fun evening bingo. There is also a snack bar by the lazy river, but it does not provide utensils for guests. The rooms are comfortable. Overall, there are areas for improvement, but we had a good experience and would return. Miguel, Dauris & Chabela made our stay better"
