"The room was very nice and clean. I loved the location and how convenient it is. The kids really loved the mini golf. The pool was okay. It seemed to me like it needed a little bit of cleaning. There was a lot of strands of hair in it. Could have been from one previous person or just a pool that hasn't been cleaned in a while. I'd still stay there again. Nice getaway! "

"The Doubletree is an excellent option for anyone interested in staying in downtown Poughkeepsie. I have stayed there on three different occasions in the last three months, each time for several days,and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the parking is free, access is convenient, there are great restaurants within a short walk, and it is only a short walk to the Poughkeepsie Bridge State Park, which is spectacular. Many rooms have a beautiful view over town...

"We stayed one night during our travels. The hotel is set up for long term stays, with a kitchen, living room area and large bathroom. Has a pool, fire pit area and gazebo. Close to a great diner. Our only complaint would be the shower wouldn’t turn off. We eventually got it though. "
