「Staff member was very rude and unwelcoming. Floors in unit had sand everywhere. Bathroom door squeaked very loudly and didn’t close all the way without extreme force. Stay somewhere else.」

「The amenities are minimal and low-frills - so it feels a bit like camping. There’s no pool and no gym, though you could pay for one at the hotel across the street. There was no coffee-maker in the room, though there is a kitchen where you can make your own food, and a barbecue area. The staff, when they were there, was nice. The front desk is not manned in the evenings.」

「I enjoyed my stay in the Chappy House – Room 409, a suite with its on entrance from the outside. It was very well appointed and similar to a spacious one bedroom apartment without the kitchen. Must be capable of maneuvering stone pathways and steps to access it. Very nice for a long-term stay. I’d be interested in purchasing one! (Luxury vinyl plank flooring needs repairing in one hallway spot — barely noticeable.) 🙂」

「This was dangerous !! Hotel bed was so cramp couple can not go to bathroom easy and any fire more likley in big trouble Staff was not there. Recepation only one person little time be warned how Expedia book this kind of place we trust Expedia this was biggest probleam plz refund entire amount and I will complain city and fire dept how they gave approval as hotel」

「We had a fantastic stay at The Richard in Edgartown! The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown and the entire staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone from housekeeping to the front desk was friendly, welcoming and top-notch. A special thank you to Shannon for making us feel so welcome. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and such a great way to start the day. And the afternoon chocolate chip cookies were incredible! Beautiful property, amazing staff and a perfect location....
