「The hotel is very nice/upscale. However, they lease a downstairs area to a restaurant that they have no control over. Our room was directly on top and music played rather loudly until 10 PM. Nothing to be done!
This is a real disadvantage and needs to be considered before considering this hotel.」

「Great location, gorgeous building and rooms were very pretty. Had issues closing the bathroom door because it kept getting stuck in the frame which makes sense in an old house but wish it was something that was taken care of. Service at front desk was lukewarm and not very welcoming. 」

「Was promoted as a hotel which it is not. Check in was a nightmare arrived at night was left a map and key in an envelope to my cottage could barely read it. Roads to cottage were dark, small and not well marked, had difficulty finding the cottage. No where to eat or get a drink even coffee. People were in Clubhouse when I arrived but locked doors and would not open. This is a country club with some cottages for rent. You are on your own in the middle of nowhere. Would never go back.」

「Because the Morgan has a poor interface with Expedia, I never received the texts they promised after I booked the room. Eventually, I was able to gain entry to the hotel with the help of a staff member who gave me a key to my room, which was up two very steep flights of steps. 「Our room was huge and had a comforatble bed. It looked recently renovated and was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was a rainy cold day so I asked for an extra blanket. I was given the blanket and offered a space heater which was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, pizza and sub shops, and the supermarket and ferry.」
