The vibe is relaxed and it feels like there is a good amount of space so nowhere feels too crowded. We were there just as a couple but there were lots of families and children there but not to the point where it was disruptive if you’re just trying to have a relaxing time. "The highlights of the stay were the excellent breakfast buffet. It was really impressive. The more the guests, the better the offerings. We were half board so had dinner as well. There weren’t enough guests on half board so there wasn’t a buffet but the hotel allowed us to order anything on the menu. The drinks on the last night were comped which was quite nice. Stella from F&B was a standout. She was incredibly welcoming and helpful and very understanding, helping us get comfortable at the hotel. The other staff member who helped us was the young man at the door. He helped create a great impression for the first time, we didn’t see him much so I couldn’t catch his name. The other staff especially front desk really lacked hospitality and bedside manner. Requests to answer questions or open the garage were met with “what!?” as though we spouted blasphemy. Very strange and uninviting. The hotel parking is convenient but kind of a pain to get in — you have to send someone up to front desk to have them open the gate while you hover there blocking the street. There are two pools and I would rate them as satisfactory because they are very small. The location is excellent. Just adjacent to the museum and our room had a wonderful view of the port and the water. We enjoyed our stay there."
