"The hotel does not offer shuttle services to many places at all (if anything). Your options are to either rent a car or pay for expensive taxi service (to/from every location you go off property). Also, the pool closes at 7pm each night with not much to do for teens/kids. Property is beautiful, clean, well maintained. Staff was very helpful. Beach is just a short walk away. The hotel has a few restaurants however Catalina needs a dinner menu more appealing or more of a variety of foods...

"I absolutely loved The Locale. It was in the center of everything. It was convenient to shopping, dining, Camana Bay, the beach front and even public transportation. "We recently stayed at Seven Mile Beach Resort & Club as a family with two tweens. The room was spacious and gave all the basic conforts of home, allowing us to cook and do laundry at our leisure. It came in handy to keep the beach towels dried in between adventures! The lanai had a nice table for four, a ceiling fan and zero-gravity chair. "We were pleasantly surprised with the property. We were worried there wouldn’t be any beach but we had the best beach in our area. We went up to the public beach and found the regal beach to be cleaner (but smaller) never had to wait for a beach chair and kids enjoyed jumping between the beach and the pool. "A delightful property - light, bright, right on the beach, no crowds at this property. If you wish a quiet, serene view overlooking the ocean, this is a busy waterway with jet skis, boats pulling in (infrequently) to pick up snorkelers. It's not as quiet a beach as I would have liked, however, this is a great property if you don't mind the motorized activity all day."

"Our stay at the Grove was amazing. The unit was super comfortable and modern with everything you can need (kitchen, washer/dryer, beach towels + chairs). Just steps away from one of the nicest parts of Seven Mile Beach, the location can't be beat. An additional bonus, there are a number of different food options right downstairs. Christian is a 5 star host - super responsive along with plenty of recommendations. Highly recommend staying here and will be back next year!"
