We did not enjoy our stay. We booked a deluxe room expecting the advertised amenities, but many were broken or unavailable.
The bathtub leaked badly and did not work, forcing us to use all our towels. Because we arrived Saturday night and reception is closed on Sundays, we had no towels to use the next day. There were also no trash bags, so our waste sat in the room until staff returned and we requested removal.
For most of our five night stay, the shower had cold water and very low pressure. We only had hot water toward the end. A plumber was sent the night before our stay ended and told us the tub and shower were not installed properly. The tub remained broken the entire stay.
The adjoining room door offered zero privacy. There was no smoke detector, no housekeeping, and the welcome drink advertised was not provided. We were also told we could not open a tab at the restaurant despite the in room menu stating otherwise.
A staff member walked into our room while we were sleeping. The curtain rod was broken, there was no safe, and although some issues were eventually addressed, it took repeated nudging and were only resolved halfway through or near the end of our stay. The dock, one of the main reasons we booked, was inaccessible.
This was not a hotel experience and felt like a glorified Airbnb at a much higher price. We documented everything and believe future guests deserve transparency.
