「The rooms were pretty terrible, even for a budget hotel for college students like us. The curtains were falling off the walls, every nook and cranny had stains everywhere, and the beds were pretty uncomfortable. Half the lights didn’t even work in our place either. However, the redeeming factor here was the staff. They were genuinely super helpful and we even got a free room switch after kindly bringing up the issues we had with our current one. 「Our room smelled like a restaurant kitchen fryer. There was stuff all under the floor including a broken off false fingernail. We complained, and they offered to clean the floors, but not switch rooms. The fingernail was gone upon our return, but the floor still had visible stuff all over. It appeared to be rice and crumbs. We were stuck with the smell and were disgusted by the entire stay. If we hadn't gotten back from our concert after 11pm, we would have considered trying to find a new place.」
