「Beautiful property! Staff was friendly & available. When we got there, they had just lost power. They had generators for the front desk & restaurants. However, not for the rooms. No lights or a/c. They put out little lanterns, but it was too hot to stay in the room; much less sleep there. People were checking out; we stayed. The did give us complementary breakfast at the Candelaria restaurant (buffet was DELICIOUS). Their 2 pools were nice - RV pool was cooler. Power was out 3 nights....

「While our stay was very unpleasant, most of the problems were out of the control of the hotel and staff. A severe thunderstorm hit the town a few minutes after we checked in and ended up knocking out power for several days. 「The location is only 4 minutes drive to Big Bend which is a big plus for us. We stayed there 4 nights, and the host is responsive and keep the trash in our room cleaned every day. The check in and check out thrue texting is also convenient for us because we check in late and check out early thanks to the smart door lock. The layout is practical and in room appliances (microwave, fridge, hair blower) are also help us staying in there for easy breakfast and dinner. Overall, I recommend this...

「Both room and hotel were very clean. My room was a little be noisy due to next to working space and dining area. Except that everything is very good to me.」

「This place gets hit by storms constantly but no backup generator! so if your lucky enough to get this room when a random storm (wont appear on weather apps) hits be prepared to be without electricity and AC oh ya when that happens no water either for a whole night!!」
