Even after that the room wasn't ready and I was told to find something else to do for another half hour. They only run the A/C at certain hours and only run the water heater at others... not really what I was expecting since I paid over $100 a night for this room. The breakfast was included and okay. The view was very nice and the grounds very well maintained. If I...

"Guests must read the lengthy list of things the hotel does not/will not provide. Simple things like towels, room cleaning, these are all considered extras. No window screens so windows cannot be let open for breeze. Poor lighting on badly kept pathways. Parking impossible without 4WD. Not a good place for working travelers. Price is actually all anyplace in Ngwesaung is worth. They also need to insure they do not have a bedbug problem. Perfect for unwashed backpacker hippies on a budget."

10/10 Excellent

The property is very nice but it is the staff that makes it so special. From the moment you walk through the front door you are pampered and made to feel special. Definitely opt for the Club Floor. The afternoon tea and evening snack/ dinner in the club lounge is great and included in the price.
