"The property location is excellent. Within a walking distance is a beautiful vineyard, a great place for photos. There were a lot of kangaroos running around. The property itself is old and in need of much more care. The cleanliness was not so good, bathroom sink’s stained and not cleaned properly. Bathroom has a shower over a bathtub and I don’t know why they only do the glass panel half way so when I took shower water went out a lot and wet the floor. "My kids loved the mini race karts available for hire and they had such a blast. The pool is small, but cold and clean, the staff are super friendly and accommodating, and the cabins are well equipped and more luxurious than we were expecting. Lots to do in the Swan Valley & we enjoyed being tourists twenty five minutes from home!"

"We were beyond happy during our 4 days stay at the Balgownie when we were celebrating our wedding. The staff is fantastic and is the driver of all of our positive experience. The property is located ~1hr outside of Melbourne - we are from out of town and first time visiting here. Area is very quiet and a great getaway from the city.
