great apartment, not so good service

I stay started with problems. I called to announce late check in (almost midnight) but the package was not prepared at the entrance, I had to call and visit three locations before I got the keys and the package. Next problem: the apartment was not on the beach, as listed. I called the hotel, but the agent was not interested and he directed me to Hotels.com. Fortunately, agent on hotels.com was extremely helpful and she found a solution for us. I never had such a cold and uninterested agent at a hotel. Other than this, apartment was spacious, great open spaces, lots of light, we truly enjoyed it.

Everything I hoped it would be

The view along with the sound of the ocean is everything we went to vacation for. The on site Manager, Sandy, was so incredibly helpful he gets 5 stars in my book. Look forward to next time. It was truly amazing.

Short notice exceeded expectations.

Perfect short notice trip to visit family from far away. An amazing property with everything we needed onsite and nearby. Spending time with family was precious but this property made it all the more memorable. Highly recommend and was I was extremely happy to get this property on such short notice.

Perfect Fall Break!

Beautiful resort and pool. Easy check-in process, even though we arrived very late. Friendly staff when we arrived for confirmation of check-in and check-out. Convenient location to shopping and dining. Great value for this resort, we are already looking at going back!

As for the property it’s self we loved it! Great location! However, upon arrival at the unit there was no running water. They got the water on within a few hours of me calling but I the running water quit and I had to call and complain EVERY DAY of our stay. We needed to leave at 5am the day of checkout to catch our flight and that morning, again, we got up to no running water so none of us were able to take a shower before a long day of travel and we all brushed our teeth with bottled water. If this had only been an issue the day of arrival that would have been one thing but the fact that I had to call and complain to get something done every single day of the day seems a little ridiculous to me. Hopefully they get that issue resolved before renting out that unit again so no one else has to deal with it.

Nice place with great pool, private beach

Love the location of silver shells. Loved the pool. The beds were not very comfortable. The kitchen did not have very much in it so had to purchase alot for our atay. Would stay again, maybe just a different condo...it needs some updating.

Beautiful condo with tons of amenities excellent. Underground parking. Very clean rooms well maintained grounds. Workout rooms were great. Location of beach is wonderful because right next door is a state park with pristine untouched beaches. Also within walking distance is one of the areas highly acclaimed restaurants The Back Porch. Would definitely go back and recommend highly.

Silver Shells Family Get Together

My family and I got together for a long weekend and this worked out perfect for us. The Condo is close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and fun things to do. The condominium was clean with nice amenities. We really enjoyed the secured entrance from both the road and the beach along with the nice gas grills that we used two of the nights. The only dings I would give would be better directions for afterhours check in and a few more dish towels, we only had one. Other than that we had a wonderful stay. Dan & Patty T.

Nice location but rooms need updating!!

The location was perfect, on the beach and view of the water. The furnishing were very dated: sofa literally slumps to the floor, carpet is very dirty, the pipes vibrated with a terrible sound every time we flushed the toilet and we had to remove a huge clump of hair from the bathroom sink to get it to drain. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were flat and minimal with no blanket on the beds. This was off season for them but there was no towels to use at the pool or in the fitness center. Workout equipment was very dated and in need of repair. The dry and wet sauna was not functioning in the locker rooms
