「Wow, where to start? My room was dirty- sticky debris on the floor and on the counter in the bathroom. I didn’t even want to walk in the room with my shoes and off it was so grimy. Sheets smelled clean but looked dirty (e.g. hair, stains). There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke and at one point I could see it wafting in the hallway despite the rooms being non-smoking. Also for those of you that still smoke like my mother momma it does say non smoking property but they do have a few Ash trays out side that can be used just please use them or that rule will be taken away ! 「The manager/owner was very responsive when I asked for a clean bedspread, as the one in our current room had pet hair all over it. I asked for a clean bedspread and he graciously moved us to a new room that was also an upgrade at no additional charge. Once moved, we found the bathroom floor around the tub and toilet very dirty/moldy, toilet not very clean, plunger had toilet paper from last use, no Kleenexes, broken shower surround, anti-slip mat in tub moldy, barely useable/leaking faucet and...

「Pool was closed and did not say nothing on their website or let their customers know took my grandkids there knowing that I was gonna rain so we can enjoy a pool. The breakfast wasn’t ready until 8 AM that also suck because we had an early drive to leave. 」

「The checkin was totally unacceptable. The front desk woman said my room wasn't ready at 4pm, and that she would call me when it was. An hour later, and no call and I encountered the same unprofessional staff member who was unhelpful, argumentative, and couldn't care less about what was going on. I finally got a hold of the cleaning staff and they let me know my room was ready, after 1 hour and 20 minutes of wait time. Check in time at 520pm. Totally unacceptable. 」

「 Staff (Peggy) was very friendly and accommodating. Family and I used to come fairly often 25-30 years ago. Nice to see they have the same themed rooms. As always, being right on the ocean front, dealing with sand and TLC for the property is a constant job. I spent four nights there and really enjoyed myself. There was a time a number of years ago when they no longer allowed children. Not sure that is still the case, but would be worthwhile to check. 」
