「The staff was amazing, friendly, and so helpful! They had information on everything going on in town and different things we could do in Carthage! They shared history with us! Everything was so clean and a very affordable stay! We will definitely stay here again if we make our way back to Carthage!!」

「Some staff member open the door while we were in there made the vibe feel uncomfortable. Left immediately. Did not feel safe. 」

「I really loved being able to park just steps from my door. Check in was very easy and simple. The room was adorable, a bit small but I was traveling by myself so it was fine. Bad weather and tornado sirens went off but i never lost electric and felt safe. The only thing I found uncomfortable was the shower head. Stream was very strong and stinging, with the smaller shower you couldn’t get away from it. But it was nice having hot water. Great stay!!」

「Very clean room and staff was amazing. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Only downside is it’s very old and run down especially in the hallways. Inside the room was much nicer than the first impression walking down the hall.」

「Breakfast was not that good. Sausage and eggs were cold and tasteless. Not that i expected a gourmet meal, but edible, it was not. Everything else seemed ok. Also I wasn't thrilled about being charged for parking. Three of us came, I got 2 rooms, 1 car, and got charged parking for both rooms. What is upwith that? Overall though, they were nice rooms, at a decent price.」

「This hotel is a shining gem from the past. Even at the discounted rates they’ve found a way to retain the grandness of its past. The employees were all very helpful. I stayed for a work trip and they helped with everything. If you need an employee while you are in Town, ask for Nate Dennis.」

「Everything is good as it should be except the dining room for breakfast is too small for all the guests have to wait til ur turns」
