「Overall the stay was nice, however there was a hole appearing in the ceiling of the main bedroom and the en suite bathroom smelt really horrendously of sewage. We were unable to stay in the room as it smelt so bad, even with the fan on and the windows open. We were also asked if we would like to reserve a parking a lot behind the property, to which we said yes. However upon arrival there were no parking spaces available.」

「Check in supposed to be 4pm and still trying to contact landlord at 4.30pm to gain access.
Smoke detector off wall and sat on stairs, leaky radiator with a glass under to catch drips, damaged flooring. Dirty throughout. Not good.」

「Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. The food is excellent and they serve well kept beers at a reasonable price. I would definately reccomend this place and we will stay again. 👍🇬🇧

「Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space.」
