"We had an incredible stay at Santa Maria Foris and would definitely return to this spot! The location is absolutely perfect—you can easily walk to all of Ravenna's main historical sites right from the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great selection of fresh food with plenty of delicious choices to start the day. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They provided exceptional service and went completely out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They were incredibly helpful with city information, offering perfect recommendations on where to eat and how to navigate Ravenna. Highly recommended!"

"Small room, even smaller bathroom. Very quiet room. Air conditioning is minimal. Can’t open windows because there are no screens on the windows. Had difficulty finding hotel limited signage, we arrived at night and spent lots of time walking in circles pulling our suitcases. Spent one night to catch a cruise the next day. I found the hotel interesting, used to be a residence of a nobleman that is why the is a private church as part of the hotel."

"We just stayed one night before our cruise departing from the port of Ravenna. We arrived by train on a hot saturday afternoon, departing on sunday afternoon. The hotel is very close to the train station. Staff at the front desk were amazingly helpful, telling us how to get to a restaurant while avoiding the hot sun, and arranging transportation for us from the hotel to the cruise port - a big deal because there is no available public transit, few taxis, and no transportation provided by the cruise line. They had to make a significant effort to find a way to get us to the port, and we really appreciate that they took the time and made the effort to ensure we'd get to the port on time. Good continental breakfast provided with helpful staff for breakfast too. Overall a wonderful experience that met all our needs."
