Stayed at Matfen Hall (5*) a few days earlier and this stay was so much better in every way - food, room size, decor, staff, comfort, value for money and attention to detail - well impressed! It was an added bonus to be able to enjoy the farmers’ market in the beautiful grounds!」

「Great last minute night away with kids. Lovely hotel, friendly staff and brilliant leisure facilities! Mark couldn't be more helpful! If there was one down side, the restaurant menu could do with a revisit (very limited) and the beautifully cooked steak and fresh fish were very much let down by the frozen chips! BUT, the breakfast was amazing! Will definitely visit again!」
