I was up on the 2nd floor so had to go up a lot of stairs with my heavy suitcase. The shower didn't function well. The water was either very hot or very cold.

Wonderful location in Old town right next to Victoria street and a few blocks from the Royal Mile. Very walkable with lots of good food options right outside the door!

This hotel was definitely not the nicest I’ve stayed in but it had character that made up for it. It was a phenomenal location and everything we wanted to get to was very close by. They also had a great restaurant attached to the hotel that made it easy in a pinch. Highly recommend this place due to the uniqueness of the hotel and the location being so central.

It was very clean, great location, rooms are small but efficient use of the space. The staircase is difficult to carry suitcases on. The beds are very comfy, The staff are excellent. I would definitely recommend it.

It's a great location for food, transportation and entertainment.
However, the room was a disappointing - it was very stuffy hot and the bed was not comfortable. Also, I could not figure out the staff... at times they acted like they are bothered by answering basic questions.
If this does not bother you, it's a great place.
