"Hotel is aged and showing signs of needing upgrades. Heavily stained carpet and doors not closing all the way. Noticed room had been repainted, but lots of areas that were obviously not masked off and painted fixtures. At one time this was most likely an upscale hotel, but time and possible economic conditions has taken its toll on this once prosperous area. Advertising photos aren’t representative of current conditions by far. "

"Overall I was happy with our stay. Our room was good, the staff was great, and the hotel was very pretty. I didn’t like having to pay for parking and the parking lot did not feel very safe. "

"The staff member that checked us in was extremely rude. She was messing up something on their end that wasn’t allowing my boyfriend’s card to go through. She treated him like he didn’t have money to pay even though we showed the account had more than sufficient to cover it. Only one elevator was working on one of the side sides of the hotel which was very inconvenient considering they had debutant ball event there that weekend and weddings. The room was dirty and smelled weird as well. We had stayed there several times before but we will not return! "

"This hotel has seen its better days. It’s a shame because it’s a great building located in a very nice part of town. The rooms are old, dirty, and in much need of updated furniture. The rooms aren’t cleaned daily. They are only cleaned when you request it."

"I did not eat breakfast at the hotel. I thought the Bar Menue was limited."
